Synonyms

I've read that it's a good idea to use synonyms to your keywords. This sounds reasonable to me....
Does anyone else agree with this??

I use synonyms....it helps with the theme of the website without repeating your 'main keyword' over and over again.

However, i would be using them in your body text/content...not many engines these days use the Meta keyword tag but it doesn't hurt to put synonyms in there too...
