Being an affiliate program, it is our prime interest to know what affiliates really want when they join one or another.
Can you name what is most important for you? What is on first place? Commission rate? Payment schedule? Credibility of the program? Conversion rate? Promoted brand?
Best regards, Seopharmacy

From my POV, the number one issue with affiliate programs is the cookie-cutter mentality (not casting aspersions at you, SEOPharmacy :) ).

If affiliate programers offered a program in which one could seamlessly and transparently integrate said affiliate program, with the use of unique content, into ones existing or future website, they would be miles ahead of the pack.

Further, the affiliate programmer would need to push the issue that duplicate content is a losing game for all but the affiliate programmer, and instead, specifically address the issue with prospects.

Members need the flexibility to be able to make a truly great site, not have an affiliate system that holds them back and turns their site into a clone.

See this thread (http://www.ihelpyou.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23286) - many affilaites are effectively strangled at birth - trust me, it puts them off for life!

Basically, what Blue said....the ability to fully customize the affiliate program to fit the site it's being used on.

There's nothing worse than seeing 100 "get rich quick" or "Viagragaine" hyperlinks on sites with the exact same text description beside it.

The number 1 priority for serious affiliates is the abilty to be able to have the order page on their site page(s). That order page should not show links to the developers site and force the affiliate rely on the unreliable Cookie method.
