Hey guys,
Just wondering if any of you have heard oor used a SEO program called IBP 9. One of the guys just started working here and came from an Ecommerce SEO company and he used it.
I was just wondering if it was any good before I decided to get another tool.
Thanks for any info.

Not something I would recommend. Many of it's features violate the TOS of the SEs, and directories.

Tell your new guy he worked for a SEO who doesn't have a clue if they still "check ranks" and do reports like that, and if they use some silly tool to "optimize" with.
Trust me; you do NOT need a TOOL for either, and as Connie stated, that particular tool violates every TOS for search engines.
The "only" tool you need is your brain in this industry. Aside from a "stats" program and maybe a spider that can check for broken links.
Stay far away from tools. This goes for anyone looking to hire a SEO who uses these "silly" tools. Stay away from them as well.

Thanks for the info. I was reading it and I was taught that if anyone claims "Top 10 Rankings" I should stay away from them. I only have about a year worth of SEO experience and I have come to learn that the best way to do it is through your own efforts. It's long, tedious and hardwork, but its the only way to get the best results.
The only tools I use are FireFox plugins, Wordtracker and Google Analytics. Everything else I do on my own. But because this guy came highly recommended his opinons have more weight with my bosses. But his background is mainly Ecommerce and not SEO (and Im the sole SEO guy here). I told him I would look at it, but thanks to some industry experts such as yourselves, I can go tell them with confidence that my hunches were correct.
Thanks for the help guys.

Good show!

That's his problem as those sites out there learned about all the bad tools from other marketing type sites who are affiliates of these tools, and none of them are Professional SEO's who have a clue.
Stand your ground and tell your bosses you finally found the "good" source for good info. :)
