Just curious...
How long will it take to catch up with something like DMOZ or Yahoo! at the current rate? Obviously, a long time, but how possible would it be?

thanks for your kind words ;-)
With the speed of submissions now, we will have 20,000 sites listed after one year of existance (in a few weeks), but the quantity of sites is not the most important thing, we are trying to list quality sites in stead.

What about Google backlinks? or backlinks from other engines?
Are there any concrete examples of a site being listed in your directory and showing up as a link to that site in Google (or others)?

we are busy adding several new features, and one of them will be that our directory can be spidered by other searchengines. When this will be implemented I don't know.
We have also set up some regional directories in combination with searching for apartments (see our front page for examples). There will be more sites available soon. If you add a site which belongs in one of those regional topics, we copy it to that topic, and it will be visible immediately in the regional directories. The regional topic is not yet available on the front page because we want to add a lot of cities and related sites first.
If you search for these cities in JA, you will still find them, and you can add sites to these topics if you want.

Backlinks are important for Search Engine Optimization. Your directory would be valuable to people in these forums if Google backlinked listing to their respective sites.
