Hello Guys,

I've got a project to market and promote an AD NETWORK website, just like Casale and Tribalfusion.

Any ideas on how I should start off my marketing campaign. My goal is to promote the site to such a level that it starts getting more advertisers.

Thanks a lot in advance !!

I think the goal of every site is to get more visitors. It's no different than getting more advertisers, right? I would think the same stuff applies to any website on the internet so I'm not getting your question.

What I am asking is that is there any specific way for marketing an Affiliate System.

Unlike the conventional promotion methods like Link Building and SEO, I think that there must be some ways to promote such ad networks as I feel that SEO and Link Building won't do any good for such sites.

It won't do any good for what "such sites"?

There are zillions of affiliate sites on the internet.

I'm still not getting what you are asking. I would think the same promotion of internet websites is pretty standard stuff. How else do you get people to notice your site other than through offline stuff?

SEO and link stuff is only a part of marketing. Email, forums, blogs, communities, other niche websites, directories, etc, etc, etc. Please tell me exactly what you want.

Hold on a minute. Before we go any further into this, there is an extremely important question that needs to be asked.

When you say you're promoting an ad network like Casale or Tribal Fusion, are you talking about an ad network in the more general sense, or are you talking about a popup-laden...wait...I'm sorry...INTERSTITIAL...annoyance to both the end user who has to see "You're the over 2,073,456th visitor to this website" and the IT professional who inevitably has to come along and remove whatever problems you have created, much like Casale and Tribal Fusion?

If it's the latter, I'll tell you right now not to bother. For every affiliate you find out there, you'll find ten guys just like me who have been cleaning off that kind of bullshit from clients'/employees' computers for years now and are so sick of it that we'd bend over backwards to destroy any new company that wants to play that dirty little game?

I'm sorry if you're in the former, but no one would mention those two companies by name without any kind of disclaimer if either they weren't planning on playing the game of the latter or they were too naive to know what kind of a rep those two companies are building for themselves.
