I found out this site, http://www.rankwrite.com/, has a PR of 7.
So I think the things they do help PR a lot.
I also noticed their extensive use of ALT text on both logos and menu buttons. Is this called SPAM? Or is this just fine?
Thanks...

The alt tags are describing the pages that they point to, therefore they're not spam, imho.
Nice site! :D

Ms or Mrs. Advisor,
I want to add some keywords, such as "Logitech ClickSmart 510" related to this product on this page...
http://www.everythingusb.com/hardware/index/Logitech_ClickSmart_510.htm
In your opinion, where should I put them?
Also, if I want to target "Logitech ClickSmart 510", "ClickSmart 510" as my keywords for this page, do you think the keyword density for this page is okay?
And thanks for your compliment...

Well, if you're talking about how to use them in your alt tags or hyperlinks pointing to that page it's easy. For instance, you're not making use of alt tags at all on the other Logitech Clicksmart 510 pages, i.e, the review, user ratings, specs and pricing pages. There are tabs on those pages which point back to your Overview page. Why not make the alt tag of the Overview graphic say, "Logitech ClickSmart 510 Overview"? And do the same thing for all of those other sub page graphical tabs. This kind of stuff seems to be very helpful to rankings. It's the same thing as using the keywords in the hyperlink that's pointing to a particular page. Extremely helpful to rankings, it appears.
Does this make sense?

Advisor,
Yes it makes sense. :)
I play around with Inktomi A LOT, and I know their method of ranking is primarily based on keyword density and title, META description in your pages. This is totally different than Google.
However, don't you it's too easy to boost ranking using this method?
Anyway, since you are doing fine, I guess there's nothing wrong following your footstep.
So, are you suggesting to use ALT tag for all the tab images I have?
For the 'overview' tab, I put "logitech clicksmart 510 overview."
For the 'review' tab, I put "logitech clicksmart 510 review."
For the 'specifications' tab, I put "logitech clicksmart 510 specifications."
Is this what you are talking about? Would this be in the excessive use of ALT tags?

That's exactly what I'm talking about! I don't personally believe it's excessive overuse. It describes exactly the page your pointing to and is a help to those with graphics turned off also. It's what alt tags were designed for. Others might disagree with me, but I think it's what you should be doing, even if you were not optimizing for the search engines.

Most appropriate use is when the page is most usable by someone with a graphics-disabled browser.
Excessive use is when the page is made less usable to someone with graphics-disabled browser.
