DMOZ to Google? How often and when?

Just curious, does Google spider DMOZ and update the Google index more often that once a month? I just had a site listed in DMOZ, I've never given it much thought on when I would show up in Google but now is a critical time for the next Google index.

(Didn't know if I should post here or in Google - sorry Doug)

Yes. Google grabs new sites once per month. If they grabbed dmoz after your site was admitted into it, you should be in Google the end of the month. If they grabbed it before your site was in, it will be in Google the end of next month.

If a site's description was recently changed in DMOZ (about a month ago), will Google pick up the change ?
