It seems we are still receiving questions about guides being allowed to run banners in the directory.
When you join GoGuides, you’re allowed to add your banner--“affiliate banner” or “personal banner that points to your own site”--to the topic you guide. If there is more than one guide in the "same topic" then the banners will be displayed in rotation according to page impressions.
We do have some requirements on size and a few other details, but this is covered in the guides Q&A section.
If you're already a guide and wish for your banner to display in your topic, simply log-in, go to your profile, click "edit banner code", then insert your "banner code" (banner URL) and click submit. I suggest all guides go to the Q&A page and click the "banner link" to read about this feature. Also follow the link just below that which says "more info" to see how the banner code should look.
