I've gotten two spammy requests in the last four days from these idiots, both from "different people" on the same static IP address in India but saying the exact same thing. Usual drivel: link exchange for SEO success.

I posted full details here if anyone wants to read it (not live-linked, so you'll have to copy/paste):

I made the link "live". It's funny stuff. :)

I think we all should "comment" on their form as well. We all could sign up for their "private label" services, right? :D

I hope they give us a good explanation for their "comment form" spam. I'd love to hear what they have to say.

Yes it is too frustrating but they do not seem to have been getting this done automatically. I have been their client and I had faced a complaint from one link partner when he got about two requests for link exchange through a contact form.

I confirmed the second request is sent as a reminder or with the speculation that the prospective link partner has not received the request. If they find any link page on a site and do not get an email id, they might be filling up this form.

I think they have already started curbing it. Their approach has not been unethical as long as I have been with them. However they need to be very much careful about not filling up contact or sales form, and send a request if they are at all ready to exchange with search engine requirements in mind.

Hold up, regal. I don't think you're getting the deeper issue here, although I don't think you're to blame here (it's the way the prevailing SEO wind blows).

Assuming you're telling the truth (and based on the complaint remark, I tend to believe you are), then the problem with what you're saying is that eBrandz is link exchanging on your behalf. If you feel that you need to exchange links with other sites to improve your search engine positioning and/or traffic, it means there is something wrong with your site such that people don't want to link to it naturally. Good sites don't need link exchanges to be successful, and they certainly don't need either an automated system or a manual ass-doesn't-know-what-the-head-is-doing system to find and contact "prospective link partners".

Friends don't let friends link exchange for SEO benefit.

Welcome! :hi:

You need to read and learn what real SEO is. Exchanging links is NOT SEO and never has been. I'm very sure your site has many problems and no amount of "links" is going to solve those problems.
