Does Ink update ?

I'm in Ink. - didn't have to pay; they picked me up a while ago - but with an old title/description (prior to my newly-found opt. knowledge). Will Ink. eventually pick-up my "new" title and description ? Do I have to pay for them to re-spider my site ?

By the way, in my analyzed log data, I see several visits by "jxxx.inktomi.com" (where the jxxx is j3400, j3410, j301...). Does anyone know if this is an Ink. crawl, or someone searching my site via an Ink. partner. I'm still grasping the whole log file analysis stuff.

The answer to the first part of your question is yes, Inktomi will eventually pick up your new title/description and will include it.

With regards to the log files, these references to inktomi look like regular visitors, not spiders or search engines. Inktomi also provides server software to ISPs and this is what these log references look like to me.
