Hello,
Anyone know how Teoma should be represented in the keywords.ini file in WebTrends (for those that use it). Are Teoma results strictly still ask.com or askjeeves? or does it have its own site that can send referrers. Since its apparantly on the radar screen now I might as well start tracking it.
thanks

Hi Tom,
I don't know about the Webtrends ini file, but Teoma does have it's own site at www.teoma.com if that helps!

In order to track results from the Teoma website:
In your keywords.ini file you will need to create a new entry for Teoma (if you haven't already). At the top will be a whole load of search engines (referenced as engine1, engine2, etc).
Just add the line - Enginexx=Teoma
where xx is the next number in the sequence.
At the bottom of the ini file you will need to make the entry itself which should look something like:
[Teoma]
ID1=teoma.com
KeywordIndicator1=?t=
Where the id is the domain or sub-domain of the search results, and the keyword indicator is the part of the string that comes immediately before the search terms. You can add variants by adding ID2= or KeywordIndicator2=...
Hope that helps,
M

Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks to both of you.
