I have listing of my site in ODP, but with the most of the keywords it is giving an absurt result and my site is not in the results. On the other hand google directory gives a very relevent result and shows my site. If google directory draws result form demoz, what can the reason of this diffrence?
Anybody plz...

THe answer to that is 'who cares' what results DMOZ show? No one searches there anyway except us who are looking at our sites. Google is who you should be concerned about. Nothing else matters.

You know I do often wonder - if it weren't for the fact that Google actually used ODP, would anyone actually give a care about it?
I can't help thinking that ODP's life expectancy is as long as Google says it is.

But if google draws directory result form ODP their must be some reason why the result do not match.

The reason is the ODP does not care about their results nor do they sit and try to make them relevant. There is NO need to. ODP is simply a database of sites that Google uses. The results have NEVER matched anything because the ODP is not designed that way.
They state this openly and have many times.
Again, don't worry about the ODP results. They mean Nothing.
