Hi, am new at this so be patient. About 4 months ago I used Ineedhits to submit to the INK. At first it was a match made in heaven and we submitted several pages and always got a fast response from Ineedhits on questions. Refresh on pages was 48 to 72 hours, no problems! Now in the reports on Ineedhits it shows a page was refreshed but the old pages still show up for days on end. And they no longer respond to e-mails. Does anyone know what is going on? The gist of our pages require frequent refresh but now they have let us down. Is there another submission service that submits to INK with frequent refresh? Thanks Roc http://MyGa.net

This isn't a problem with ineedhits, more of a problem with Inktomi. All their paid inclusion partners will record that the spider has visited - it is up to Ink. themselves to refresh the index and provide it to MSN, AOL and all.
You would have the same problem with positiontech, network solutions or whoever.

Thanks for the quick reply now I understand more, still don't know why Ineedhits won't answer ther mail, and I was nice. Hmmm.
Anyway our hits are picking up in yahoo on the new pages, thanks to google we have about 20 pages in the top ten in their respective categories.
Through study, hit and miss, forums and for very little cash I have been able to constanly keep 2 web sites in the top 10 with up to 80 pages. Should I be comfortable enough with that to offer an optimization consult to another web owner. Thanks Roc

Don't know the answer to that one - only you can be the judge of how confident you are in your SEO abilities, though I have to say it IS a lot easier to optimize your own site than someone else's.

Welcome to the forums rocwalker1! :hi:
Sounds like you are doing pretty good! As Mark said though, it does tend to be a bit easier with your own site.

Thanks for the comments, I'll be watching for more good information on this forum. Have learned a lot and even had a few laughs. Any of you think about following Letterman on late night?
Seriously it is good to learn from you guys. Heck, I might even be able to buy lunch doing this one day.
