What is best pay per click engine to use in the UK?

Does Espotting beat Overture in overall exposure?

From my own experience, I would almost dare to say that overture is the better of the two.

But, and it's a big but, I would wait to hear from MMT, as he undoubtedly has more experience in the PPC field.

My experience is garnered from only a few cases, whereas Barry's would be from a more broad study, I feel.

Overture has:

AOL, Freeserve, AltaVista, MSN, BTOpenWorld and Ask as their main traffic driving partners (among others).

Espotting has:

Yahoo, Lycos, HotBot, LookSmart, Ask and NTL as their main ones (among othes).

I now use both to cover all the options.

I would say that Overture has the slight edge in exposure - but, if they do, not by very much. Espotting's Yahoo deal has made sure of that!

I get good traffic now through both PPCs.

Wow thats cool Doug. Did you grow up in the Findlay area?

Its kind of a nice small community -- people don't drive as fast here -- which suits me fine :)

I have to thank you and your forum for your help. I have really been able to get some good listings for my company. Check out my rankings for vacation packages at Google and Yahoo.

Learning all the SEO techniques is certainly an ongoing process -- but I think I have picked up a few valuable ideas that will help our company web sites.

Thanks again!!

Great ranks!

Yep. I am sure you know of Marion, one hour south of you on rt23. That's where I am from. :)

Findlay has grown up a bunch since I was there in the late 70's!

>NTL...

NTL are the largest cable provider in the UK who also provide ADSL broadband services - so a pretty big ISP. Just as lots of people use Freeserve as their search portal - so many use NTL.
