Hi all
For those of you who need to make some site adjustments for "theming" your site (or for getting more keywords into your URLs) there are two basic techniques you can use:
First, you can set up some directories within your site and name them (and the pages perhps) with keywords. Make sure there are links both ways between all areas of your site and then proceed to develop a theme for each directory. There is a slight disadvantage in doing this as your pages are then second level at best.
The other way, if your webhosting arrangement will accomodate it, is to create third level domains such as
Http://mynewdomain.myolddomain.com
This works the same as the directories, except that some search engines will give you better credit for links between the domains and you can get some keywords into your URl without the necessity of registering them with Internic, and all your new pages are closer to the root.
