Wow...first thread in 5 years!
So here's the deal: I'm looking for something fairly simple. I just want a free tool that will allow me to submit an IP and get an XML response back containing a hostname and ideally country and province/state of origin. I don't have a lot of requests to make of the tool...maybe 100 a day tops. I've got my application set up to process the information once I receive it: I just need a source to tap into.
I was using the one at www.ipmango.com , but for some reason they keep failing.
Is there a tool like this, or do I have to do something that goes against my nature like paying for the tool?
