I'm Confused

I was just wondering why I haven't been accepted into ODP yet. I've got 3rd place on google, and 2nd on Yahoo's web page matches, but have not appeared yet in ODP. Should I not even bother worrying about this? What other search engines use DMOZ in their listings? My website is www.masterclock.com and I'm using "master clock" as my search word standard. Thanks.

rankings in search engines have nothing to do with getting into dmoz. I assume you have submitted your site to the appropriate category for consideration?

If you have, I recommend you sit back and wait for an editor to look at it.

I submitted back in January, but nothing came of it. The category I submitted to didn't have an editor, could that be part of it? Should I re-submit, and if so, how long should I wait? Thanks.

took me 2 years to get one site into DMOZ. Really. Now I'm trying to get the description changed as they put the company name wrong.

hey Diane, it ain't easy. You may wish to email the editor of the category just above the one you submitted, to find out the statis of your submission.

I too have yet to get any of my sites into dmoz. I have waited for over 6-7 months for at least one of them. My category also does not have an editor. I think it's normal to have to wait a while to get into this one.
