Hello everybody!
Im going to switch host soon and wonder if anyone can give me some recommendations? Would prefer cheap hosts since the page im building is not making any money and it's not meant to. And should have PHP4 and mysql, that's a requirement.

Take a look at http://nomonthlyfees.com/
I've used them for 2 years now and have been happy.

I second F-S comment, IMO this is the best value on the web and the technical solution is also great, theonline support system works 24 x 7and you get dedicated IP addresses
This site is hosting on one of the biggest and server farms with direct (router) conncetions to not one but 3 internet back bones.
All this for $200 for the first year (including a domain name if you need one) and $100 peryear thereafter.

You might also like to have a look at "godaddy.com" - 1st rate support and also are a registrar for domain names, they sorted a problem for me today very efficiently.
Think their charges are $10 monthly for hosting but don't know anything about their technical side.

Thanks for the recommendations! They looked good and went into the bookmarks. I have to look some more thou, it's important to get a good host so i have to investigate some more.
I would love some more personal recommendations from all the others, if feels more reliable that judging from what I read on the providers homepage.

I've found that you nearly always get what you pay for when it comes to hosting. I use http://www.pair.com. It's probably the most pricey host you'll see recommended in this thread but I've been with them for 4 years and never had a single complaint. Each of my sites generates revenue on a 24/7 basis. If any of those sites goes down and misses a sale that lost sale has just negated the money I would have saved with a budget host.

Crifer - I am going to recommend SearchKing.com. I use them myself for a couple of sites. I also promote and sell
SearchKing web hosting, I only promote products that I have used and believe in.

These may not be excatly what you are looking for - but SearchKing has several different hosting options, one of which I am sure will fit your needs.

I am not sure what the policy here is on pitching services, but we have hosting in-house. We have over 200 hosting clients. If you are interested in a quote, let me know. We've never been down in two years and just implemented a wireless T3 back-up.
We support PHP, ASP, etc. Let me know if you have any specific requirements. All domains are static IP's.
