I have no clue about Overture nor do I care as I do not use them. Why are you asking me about that thread in that forum?
Further, check out Mel's post here:

Seems that MSN does not know what they wish to do yet. hmm. If LS has not consulted even a little with MSN about anything, that could not be good for LOOK at all. Besides, it seems no matter what MSN decides to do, their results are going to suffer. MSN is a wanna be search engine but has NO database of it's own. Until they do have one, the results will get worse and worse unless they decide to use the Google results.

Like I said, I DO NOT use Overture and never have. I don't care what the flip MSN does as they are going down no matter what unless they start using Google.

Now that I have your attention, how do you propose I spend almost $9000 per month just for Looksmart?
Also, why are ALL my url's all clumped together into one account with NO WAY of splitting them up and NO WAY to do anything with it?

Since I am a very small SEO compared to many of them out there, you can take my measley $9000 a month and multiply that MANY times over to give you the number of url's in the LOOK directory that are sitting in many, many accounts just like mine and controlled by SEO's just like me.
What do you think about that? AND, what do you wish to do about that?

hmm Tex, I am failing to see your point about this. Let's say MSN decides to drop Overture altogether and shows all Looksmart results only.
Why would that change my opinion on anything?
What MSN does has Zero bearing on my thinking about Looksmart and what they have done to my Existing client's url's. Oh sure, any new url's will like what MSN does, but please tell me how that affects me and my clients? Please tell me why my clients would pay .15 cents a click for something they were getting before anyway?
Please help me understand all of this Tex. I am failing miserably in grasping the motive behind all of this. What the heck does msn and overture have to do with the problems I have with this?

Tex, if you could look into my account at LOOK, you would see what I am saying. You obviously do not understand my predicament with the current url's in my account and that I have no options available to me but to give Looksmart $9000 per month. I cannot split up my url's. I cannot do anything at all. They are ALL on my own personal credit card. I cannot put some on a different credit card nor can I split them up. I cannot do anything at this point.
Tell me what to do please.

Well Tex, that link was broken by I am being serious here with a serious situation.
If you do not wish to help me for the problem specific to my situation, then don't post anything at all. You fail to see what the situation is with the clients currently in Looksmart and currently lumped into one account with one credit card and NO WAY to change it.
Thanks anyway. Neither you nor LOOK nor it's stockholders seem to want the business of MYself nor any of my clients. Fine with me but bad for LOOK and it's stockholders, my friend.
