Hi,
I've been noticing that some people's keyword meta tags have no commas separating any of their words. Is this a good idea?

commas are seen as spaces by search engine spiders.
I personally don't use commas but it doesn't make a difference. Besides, many engines don't even index the META keyword tag anymore but it is a good idea to include it.

Welcome to the forum. MsSearch is correct. It doesn't make a difference if you use commas or not. Most search engines don't read the meta keywords anymore. I would recommend you using them because you never know when a search engine will start to use them. They can still help. Just don't go over board with them.

Inktomi and AltaVista still use the keyword tag. Don't care much about the latter, but as Ink provides results to MSN and AOL, a keyword tag is still important.
I too use spaces rather than commas.

I use a combination of commas and no commas. But you can do whatever makes you happy! Just odon't obsess over it because it doesn't matter!
