hehehe... well so much for hoping my site would get listed by the time I finished my search engine... but oh well. Maybe it'll go through as my birthday present. It at least gives me some time to do the rest of my content and features. Hope some of yas check it out... and please any feedback would be appreciated, this is already my 3rd attempt at a new code (hehehhe) 4th won't hurt too much.
Edit:
would really appreciate it if someone on a slow dialup could check it out and tell me how the it is. This is an all in house project.

Well, I'm on a 56K from the UK and it's pretty quick from here.
Not sure that we really need another ODP based directory though, to be honest. I personally would like to see some original content and features.

ya once I finish it'll have my old content... I used to run an entertainment content site. But I'm going to try and provide my search engine as a service soon. So I'll have part of it under .Net web services so people running entertainment sites can have a better search incorporated into their sites. After I install a new raid drive I'll transfer my movie database over, kinda like IMDB... and then the reviews and such sections to fill in real content along with daily articles/interviews.

I did. In most cases, where a webmaster posts his/her site, If I feel like doing the person a favor, I make it a point to review every site in the category, in order to be fair to all submitters. Obviously if there are a lot of sites to review, then I generally let nature take it's course. In this case, in the category where I listed hollywood's site, the only site waiting to be reviewed was his. Besides, it's always nice to see yet another site that uses ODP data. :)
