Being a shareware developer, I release my second shareware LinkSurvey, which can check link popularity of multiple relative websites and generate detail report. It can help you find potential link partner and improve website link popularity by learning about your competitors. IMHO, I think it's helpful to those webmasters.

But I'm still unfamiliar with webmasters, so that I have no idea about how to market my software. Would any of people give me some suggestion?

Thanks.

PS. Please go to www.linksurvey.com to download trial version of LinkSurvey.

Your software looks interesting, but I'm afraid I can't give you much advice on how to market it. Just keep contacting the various SEO forums and let people know about it. If it's a quality product, people will spread the word.

Thank you for your advice.

But I just wonder, if I decide to spend some advertisement on vertical market, or in another word, introduce LinkSurvey to webmasters and web promotion guys, what will be a best start point. I'm looking for a effective but not too expensive way to do that.

You could advertise in some of the SEO industry newsletters...and other similar publications that are read by many...

What Ms said.

Also their are several sites that you can submit your software to like cnet's download.com and scriptsearch.com to name a few.

Welcome to the forums hong_lewis! :hi:

Your question is one that ALL web sites on the net have to go through in order to promote their sites/products, etc. It is nothing new. You simply have to find the outlets that are right for you. Nothing is easy on the internet. You truly have to work at it. These forums go over one aspect of marketing on the net which is the major search engines. That is probably going to be your most cost-effective way to promote. Get your site ranked in them would be a good step.

Good luck!
