From what I gather, Australian law will not allow the type of business model that LS is practicing in the US.

I gather the ACCC (our consumer watchdog) won't let them change existing listings to the PPC model. If they went to the PPC model and grandfathered previous listings that would be ok - from my understanding.

Consumer law in NZ wouldn't allow it either.
Doesn't appear to be much consumer protection in the US. One of the risks with conducting internet business with US based companies, I guess.
