BidRank to Change to Overtures XML Feed

The long awaited change from our current arrangement with Overture to their XML feed is being tested and will be released on Monday. The XML method is more stable, returns a much smaller percentage of errors, and most importantly the software will not have to be updated every time there is a change in the Direct Traffic Center.
BidRank for Overture will undergo final testing this weekend and is scheduled to be released Monday.
The new version of BidRank for Overture will also incorporate Overture's new policy of allowing 24 bid changes per keyword per day. This is a much anticipated and welcomed change that will allow BidRank customers much more flexibility in bidding strategies without sacrificing ROI.
The new release will also have many new features, including a "keyword wizard" that will automatically download your keywords from your account and update your bid file when new keywords are added.
Finally, Overture has announced that they will introduce their own "auto-bidding" feature. While this new feature will eliminate gaps between your bid and the "max cap" of the competitor below you, it does not maintain position, or eliminate all gaps. Additionally, using BidRank will enable you to hide your "max cap" which will reduce your overall cost-per-click. BidRank will still perform the same functions it does now. When Overture releases this new feature, a program update will not be necessary, but we will send out another newsletter with more details on how it works with BidRank. Thank you.
