I am looking for a host that has specific knowledge of hosting Actinic Catalog. The domain (a .com) will be a transfer from an existing host who has failed miserably to cater for the needs of my client.
Please, no "I've heard of Actinic I think I can do it." That is not the way I do business.
Experience of SSL and WorldPay connectivity would be an advantage but not essential.
This is a long term hosting requirement for a very large UK client.
Many Thanks...

Migh try this link: http://www.actinic.co.uk/services/index.htm
Or, you can view some sites employing Actinic and search for their webmaster links to ask out about hosting: http://64.225.130.17/examples/

Whilst I thank you for those references, I was actually aware of them already. I was seeing if anyone within our lovely little "family" wanted the work first. Thanks again...

Looks like a kind of catalog for shopping. A shopping cart.

You may wish to look at CoreSense (www.CoreSense.com (http://www.CoreSense.com)). It is a fully integrated e-business solution that is far better than Actinic Catalog. They create and host your site for a fairly low fee. If you only want Actinic, then I cannot help you, but if you are looking for a better way to sell your products online, check out the CoreSense website for a demo that shows its features.

Many thanks, GBrown but I'm afraid I don't always get the choice. If they want Actinic, Actinic they get!
And apart from that, CoreSense is guilty of the biggest mortal sin when trying to get me to buy a product - no price displayed!

Welcome to the forums GBrown02! :hi:
Thanks for the information. Do you know the price?

I'm with Maz on this one. I have to know a price first before I give anyone an email address to contact me. Even a phone number on the website to call would be nice.
oops. number is there. Still would like a range of prices or something to look at so I would know if I am wasting my time or not.
