It isnt working right because the link is different style than the board is expecting. It is looking for something like showthread.php?s-whatever$threadid=whatever

The search engine friendly (mod_rewrite) hack has some of its disadvantages.. including the attach feature. I can look into the actual php code for this merge action, but am not sure if it will end up successful or like theattach file bug.

PS.. The other thread got deleted by accident whenI was trying to merge.

If you can't fix the onchange() problem, is there a way to disable it? Same for the attach...can that be disabled if it doesn't work? It might save some 404s.

The merge thing probably would not be used much anyway. I can see some use in the attachment thing though. Oh well.

I'd rather have the search engine friendly stuff as the more members, the more knowledge, the more we all learn, and the more members who wish to learn.
