mmm. reading deeper its FAST's dat search product, is that 'web search' or in house freeserve data search i wonder?

I read the press release as FAST were taking over the corporate search facility and not the portion currently provided by Google.

So it's probably one in the eye for Alta Vista and Inktomi who are trying to be big players in that marketplace (the size of the market is really big so it is a major coup for FAST).

Maybe after the honeymoon period they will give them the normal search.
