Hi davek and welcome to the forums! :hi:

First off, I would suggest dumping the frames, or at least do a search in here on how to use frames to your and the SE's advantage. Our moderator Alan Perkins has an excellent solution (http://www.searchmechanics.com/learn/srf/).

If you decide to go non-frames, your site is set up well to use the table trick:

Then, read up in here as much as you can on SEO stuff and you'll be off to a good start.

And keep asking questions!

You know I had to jump in . . . .

For your website, yes, I would suggest just going to basic HTML pages without frames. Don't make a run at frames unless you are prepared to throw a lot of time and resources at it.

However, frames are not evil ! :D They can be our friends. ;)

BTW - getting non-profit sites listed is cheap (free), and there are a lot of options available. Make sure your site is finished first, then submit to the directories (not crawlers). Submitting will be a very time consuming task so be prepared with descriptions and comments about the site.

If you are looking for some good visibility for a non-profit, be sure to visit www.Zeal.com (I know it has been the topic of conversation in past threads . . .)

Also, depending on the type of non-profit you are, you may want to look for sites that would want to link to you.

Good luck and keep reading!

Following up on Andrew's advice, Zeal will get you a free listing in MSN search results, the LookSmart directory, and its various partners. I would also recommend www.techsoup.org (http://www.techsoup.org) as a great all-around tech/Web resource for nonprofits. Good luck!

In addition, you could build a lot of prequalified traffic by getting yourself listed at places through a strategic link building campaign like:

http://www.idealist.org/
http://www.nptimes.com/guides.html

Of course, it will also depend on what type of non-profit you are.

I also found this for you; but it would be helpful if we knew what type of Non-Profit you were promoting . . .
