Help with MSN rankings

I own a gift basket site: www.giftbasketsenders.com. I have pretty good rankings on Yahoo (Gift Basket #5 among other others) and Altavista for other keywords. However, for some reason, my rankings on all the Inktomi network search engines are note very good. I have been trading links like a madman and have been reading a lot but no one has been able to really tell me something that has resulted in a change in my rankings.

I was excited to find this site because its hard to get good advice for FREE. Kudos...

My question is what things should I be doing in order to be achieving higher rankings for my 10 top keywords in the MSN, and other Inktomi powered engines? I noticed AOL has started to use google so does this mean they no longer pull from Inktomi?

I am a newbie so your help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
