Thanks for the heads up Farhan!

Just what we needed...another tool bar!~;) With so many toolbars, there won't be much room for the browser, but at least you'll know how the page performs.

All these ridiculous toolbars. One has to wonder what's the real reason the engines wanting to have one? :eyes:

Well,
the only one I use is the googlebar, and i could not give it up, it has very nice features, for both SEO and research.

It is simply a "portal" bar - not incredibly innovative.

i have no use for many of its functionsExactly !
That is the beauty of the Google toolbar. It has functions for SEO's, webmasters, techies, site owners or marketing managers. Simple, yet functional items that help you compare, optimize, and search more effectively.

These people (webmasters, SEO's, techies) are the opinion leaders on the web. They are typically the ones who tell clients about search engines and then recommend Google as a search option. That is how Google attained its status to start with. Reaching opinion leaders and letting word of mouth spread.

Getting results on Yahoo didn't hurt either.

AJ seems happy just to get some users that want some added functionality of a portal on their browser.
