hi, our target audience is mainly uk, nz and us with other europeans as well. 21-33 male and female "lads" - does this affect which engines/directories should submit to?
is there any analysis of user details?:hi:

hey supine, did not see this post. I do not know the answer but does anyone know?

I would think not, but you would have to know which ero engines cater to which demographics.

Thanks for your reply. Have been looking around for possible sources and so far it would appear that would have to pay some company like Nielsen or Jupiter, I do appreciate that reliable (and/or ) verifiable stats will be hard to find - could perhaps look at searches carried out by interest for some clues.
Any more ideas?

I simply did not see your post but others might have and did not know an answer as well. You may be right, neilson and others charge for that info, so maybe it could be very hard to find.

Hi supine!

I somehow missed your post as well.

You may get some demographics info from the following links (I haven't tried them):

http://www.cyberatlas.internet.com
http://www.internettrafficreport.com
http://www.keynote.com
http://www.mediametrix.com
http://www.netratings.com
http://www.nielsen-netratings.com
http://www.nsol.com/statistics
http://www.nua.ie
http://www.searchengineshowdown.com
http://www.statmarket.com
http://www.traffick.com

As well here is a link from google (not really much info though): http://www.google.com/ads/demographics.html

And I hear that "members" get access to SE demographics at Search Engine Watch: http://searchenginewatch.com/resources/

Hope this is helpful,
