I noticed www and www2 are showing different results than www3. Which one is the new index?

Doing some quick searches, it appears that www2 will be the new index. This is the testing stage right now.

I must say, I think I will simply build a one page, 2-3 word page, and stick it up with a new domain name. They seem to get #1 ranks from Google.

When is Google going to clean up their **it?

Very mixed, reached number one on a few good terms an slid a bit on others.

Actually I think you may be correct on the word count. Sometimes it appears google puts page rank way above actual content. You could have a crappy page with one picture and a few key words and as long as a (google indexed) popular page is linking to you, you would be in the top of the index. I have some pages with pretty good page rank. If the page rank remains good, I will link some doorway pages from those sites. I'll bet the doorway pages end up high in the index.

Oh no.... is this the FINAL index? All MY LISTINGS ARE GONE. They are NO LONGER in the TOP 10.

It's not that simple. My site PAGERANK drops. This affects all pages. I think the drop has led to rank drop.

I am thinking that sites that constantly have new content are spidered often and updated often. Reason I say this is cause already Google has re-indexed these forums and have added around 1000 pages to the 300 pages they had in there just last week. They are in the www index now with a date of August 6th in the cache.

Very strange. They are very hard to figure out.

Looking good. If this holds, I'm going to get my remote control helicopter. Hooray for me. And I'm back in with my site. Lost about twenty places for my main keyphrase which is odd as I have more relevant links than before. And before you say it - there is no such thing as a +20 penalty. Still, my clients are doing well (some top tens and twenties for fairly competitive web hosting and design phrases). Good update as far as I can tell. Very happy.
