what is the go!?!?!?!?

has anyone had any luck getting into excite in like the last million years? they never seem to update. I managed to get one site in but it was only the index and it took over 6months.

anyone else ?

Oh yea, we all have the same troubles. Best bet is to get into Looksmart and then Excite will put you in the directory and eventually spider and then you are in.

It can take 6 months though, I'm afraid.

Even after gatting numerous client sites into Looksmart it still took a lllooooooooooonnnngggg time before those listing appeared in Excite....

I don't spend much time worrying about Excite....they also aren't doing so well financially but i guess that would be discussion for a new thread.....

Very slow indeed, but ArchitextSpider will eventually come around...I think it was well over six months for us, but we now have several hundred pages listed and the spider still visits often (even as we type).

Achitext Spider is always on our site. I don't know why, Excite hasn't updated our listings since time began.
