Hi everyone
I know that this question may not sound very new to the forum members, but please give room to the excitement i am going through.
My site finally showed up on Google recenlty, wi th a 6th position a very competitive keyword and 50th on the other most important keyword for my site. Though i am pleased with the former result, i wiould just like to know that how can i improve my listings which is on 50th number to teh topten. (i would like to add that it is quite professionaly optimized and also ranks on a number 4 position on Yahoo.
Any comments please..:)

Hi, Someone fram Pakistan
Firstly, congratulations on the already high rankings.
Without seeing the page that is lagging however, it is pretty difficult to see where it is failing.
Feel free to post it in private if you wish.
Kind regards...

Great job Farhan!
Yes. Difficult to answer about the 50th place and what the keyword phrase is.

The problem you mention is usualy due to the balance of keywords / phrases in the site, google is deciding for you which one you should rank for, it is a case of adjusting this balance to leverage your 50th position upwards while maintaining as much of your 6th position as possible.
As mentioned above you need to provide the URL, but I hope that points you in the right direction

Hello Farhan,
As MazY said, without actually viewing your page it's just a guessing game for us.
We're pretty sure it would be okay to post your URL here if you like. (Doug?)
1) With just an educated guess we would say to boost up your keyword density FIRST.
2) Secondly reduce the amount of words in your HTML Title Tag to just your search phrase only.
3) Make sure that this keyword phrase is in an <H1> Heading Tag as well as within a "sprinkling" of bold text.
4) Create the file name to match your search phrase exactly. This alone can help tremendously.
5) Get lots of top ranked Sites to link to you and include your keyword phrase in the anchor text.
6) Here is a TOP SEO TIP of ours: Place a link to Google.com on your page (DO NOT submit it) and click them a few referrals because Google crawls out of their own referral logs. Such pages should rank higher (most of the time) than they ever did without the link.

As long as the site is not "adult" in nature it can be posted.

Hi Farhan,
Just so that you know, the advice we just gave is for ONE KEYWORD PHRASE on ONE page.
It just dawned on us that you might be talking about ranking 50th and 6th for the SAME page. If this is the case, by all means create a new page, but if you think that you can get both terms in the top 10 then go for it. Test, be patient and get LOTS of inbound links from the top ranked Sites for your community with your keyword phrase in the anchor tag text, ALWAYS. That is the key to getting and maintaining the top rankings.
