Ever wonder why sometimes you are not able to Save Picture As the same format of the source? For example, you browse to an image, you know it is either .jpg or .gif, but, when you right click and Save Picture As, your only option is .bmp.
The main cause of this is your Temporary Internet Cache is full. You need to go to...
Tools > Internet Options > General
and click on the Delete Files under the Temporary Internet Files section. Now go back to that same image, refresh your browser and you'll be able to Save Picture As in its native format.
