Today my website stat
http://extremetracking.com/open;ref1?login=taj79
shows that at 19 Aug, Mon, 03:03:26
there is a referrer http://www.google.com/

Earlier it used to be like
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=indian+paintings+for+sale&sa=N&tab=iw

that means that some one had searched for
indian paintings for sale
and clicked on my URL in the google result.....

But what does referrer
http://www.google.com/
means?????

It means that the main domain name referring someone's entry to your site was Google.

But till now i used to get refer from google when someone searched for keywords like indian painting
This was obvious......
i m still confused when my webstats say that referrer is
http://www.google.com only ,no search term.......
