Is there any way in which I can get the "Microsoft Internet Explorer" out of the title of my webpages? I don't like MIE following my own page-titles.

That's just the browser the user happens to be using. It has nothing to do with your page titles. If the user is using Netscape, it would say "Netscape" at the top of the browser.

I know & understand that. I guess my question really is that can the browser name be deleted somehow from the title?

It's possible that you could go into the IE program files and change something (if you were a programmer) that could remove it from saying it in YOUR browser.

But that's not going to remove it from everyone else's brower. You have no control over those!

You could try a hex editor, or a registry hack, depending on where the text is stored.

I guess I question why? Why do you care about what is up there at the top of YOUR browser? Only you can see your own browser. I am lost here.

You can get the Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK) from Microsoft, I think it's still free, and you can do all kinds of things to IE with it, if you really feel the need. That will change how it looks on your computer.
