Any benefit in converting a links engine from dynamic pages to flat pages?

I am thinking of converting our dynamically generated links engine (has about 2,000 links in 60 home related categories) to static pages. Will this benefit my site at all (seen as a resource by the ses) or just benefit the sites listed in the links engine?

I am not sure what your question is. Is it an FFA links engine? If so, nothing you do will get it better ranks,... at least I do not think anyway.

Yes it will, spiders are much more inclined to deep spider links without blocking characters (? = etc), depending on how you do this conversion will effect the amount of benefit you gain.
