Anzwers Now Powered by Yahoo

Hey I just noticed that Anzwers Australia & NZ (http://au.anzwers.yahoo.com/) is now powered by Yahoo. The weird thing is that even if you are listed in Yahoo, when doing a search you don't show up in Anzwers. I guess you still have to be in their old database (which you haven't been able to submit to for about 18 months?). Is anyone even using Anzwers anymore?

It's been using the yahoo/google results for ages, the only difference now is that it is just it says yahoo only. it's not the directory results it's the page/ google results.

It is also serving directly from yahoo.au so perhaps yahoo australia has brought them out.

They haven't used their original database for jonks.

yahoo.au is still service the directory cat results first

Quite a few people use answers to get the au results instead of using google.

Yeah but last time I looked (which, admittedly was a few months ago), they were powered entirely by Google and you could still find your site in there as long as you were in Google. Now I have clients who are in both Yahoo and Google, but don't appear at all in the Anzwers results. Or maybe this is just a WPG glitch. Yes I think you're right about Yahoo Oz buying them out - interesting.

eek.. you need to switch off WPG thinking on this and see results and situation for yourself. ;)

check if they have .au or .nz could be a point but I am NOT seeing that yet. i.e bondi beach apartment

shows .com / s are ok.

I wouldn't worry too much on this but it is something to understand as yes,, there are users on it.

Oh heck .. sorry .. I messed up there.. I mean they are *only* showing the .au results..

Kal do you have some australian or new zealand sites to check there that have had to get .com etc. to see if they show?

I cannot get a single New Zealand .nz site to show? You are right it is changed just this month.
