WebTop

Has anyone heard of WebTop? I was submitting to them but now there 'Submit' is nowhere to be found and their contact info is nowhere to be found as well....

Anybody have any ideas? or know whats going on?

WebTop had quite a lot of publicity in the UK about a year ago as one of 3 search facilities which were going to use a different method of indexing sites. After some initial heavy crawling and boasts of indexing vast number of pages, they have gone quiet.

Despite having over 100 sites in WebTop I think I have had 2 referals in a year - so have stopped paying too much attention to it recently.

I also notice that you can't get to the submit page via TD either. Maybe they are running a bit short of the old VC money!

I also couldn't find a way of adding my url so I just did /help.htm after their web address and found it that way.
