When Mygeek.com initiated it's realationship with Spedia/Surf+/Filemix, we were unaware of thier business practices. Had we know about this, we would have never entered the relationship. On 8/30/01, we learned that Surf+/Spedia/Filemix was modifing/changing our results. After debating the issue for 3 seconds, we immediatly terminated our relationship.

We will continue to support any effort to eliminate the use of this type of software.

Yes. Well, at least I know if I ever need to advertise with a PPC, mygeek will be at the top of the list now!

Now, if only mamma.com would cancel as well.

Hi mygeek and a very warm welcome to the forum.

We applaud your prompt action to disassociate your firm with the less than ethical actions of Spedia. I hope that your action and the announcement of it will serve as an example to others.

mygeek is still holding on to their affiliation with Commission Junction however. CJ continues to let Spedia and Ezula rip off all other affiliates of their's. Obviously, mygeek must find something ethical about this?

I am still disappointed.

Question is; does mygeek know what Commission Junction is doing?
