I have pretty good rankings on google but have not submitted to Inktomi/All the Web and/or Altavista yet. Is it still worth it? Should I submit to any other search engines? I want to be well-rounded but also don't want to waste my time or money on something that is going to bring me zero return, or traffic for that matter.

If you don't want to spend money, then just sit and wait - alltheweb, MSN and AV will pick you up eventually. MSN drives a fair amount of traffic though, so it is probably worth the money to pay for Inktomi inclusion if you can get the ranks.

I think I will pay for the inktomi listing, at least. The only problem I have with them is that my keywrod is very competitive and even if I am number 1 I will be number 60 after the Look$mart PPC listings.

Keep in mind that even Inktomi will still list you for free. The only advantage to paying is being spidered every 48 hours.

Check keywords if you are going into INK. Although 'major keyword' may be in L$ - 'buy major keyword online' or other 3 or 4 word phrases may not be! Those are the honey that INK can give you ;)
Although many posting here are right to say you will be picked up in time - I have to get my clients visible results fast and INK/MSN still does it every time (through paying PT).
I can get a site 100 unique visits a day through INK within 7 days of being given a contract, when the site gets picked up by ATW - that adds another 25 or so. This does me well (adding in other smaller engines - like AV) until the Great Google God kicks in - but the client is usually so happy by the results I have from other SEs - that I then look like a Super-Hero :)
However, MSN/INK can give you well focussed traffic - whichever way you want to play it!
