I am so lost on this search engine business. Once you submit to an engine I realize it could be a few months before your site is listed. It has been 21/2 months since I submitted my site. Is there any way to check and see whats going on with it?

No, not unusal at all. Try to get into some directories like DMOZ, GoGuides, and JoeAnt.

Read up in here for awhile to understand how the search engines work.

Also, please go to your control panel and change your picture as that is the pic of one of our moderators in here. :)

Everyone should mark their avatar as needing a few hundred posts before anyone can use it. That will prevent that sort of thing. I changed sophie's to 300. Mine's always been at 1000 I think!
