Competitor using our name in their keywords.

A competitor of ours is using our company name in their keyword list. Is there anything that we can do?

E-mail them directly and ask them to remove the words and if they are unwilling to do this threaten legal action (in the e-mail).

a) they are in the wrong and you could probably win a legal action, but...
b) it will do them so little good that it's not worth worrying about - better to leave them to wallow in their ignorance

If they are using your name in invisible content (spam), report it to the search engine in question and make it very clear to the search engine what your problem is.

If they are using your name in their visible content, check with a lawyer. It may be fair use or it may not.
