Unless I am misreading your post, it seems that you have not yet done the redesign and optimization? Is this correct?

If that's the case, what is it you are needing critiqued?

Yes, spend a few weeks reading up in here to get many ideas. When you start redesigning, ask questions about what you don't understand.

I guess I mis-titled my request! I am really seeking reviews of the site as it currently, so that I can take constructive crititisms into account for the re-redesign. All comments welcome!

Ok-

First I get a runtime error on line 1.

The starry background screams "cheesy".

The positioning is very strange with the text being contained in a relatively narrow column but a lot of empty space to the left.

The logo and the top nav bar are fine- try dropping the background image and rework the table to fill the page better and it might be OK.

First off, the background colors around the title and the body are different, even though they both have the star patterns. Second, I'm not sure if it is of concern to you but the entire page view is distorted in my netscape browser.
