We submiitted our website to google but the only way we can see it if we type in the url. is this right. we are not in the pages anywhere. do I have to optiomize the site after it is submitted or should it just wind up in the listings. www.toolsauctions.com
please advise

You have to optimize a site to be search engine friendly in order to get it to show up under keyword searches. Read through some of the threads in this forum to learn how to do that!

You've been penalized. You have a PR of 0/10. I don't know why...Google's cache of the site does not match the site... You redesigned? Maybe you're changing the page too often? Did you spam in the past? Cloaking?
I've only achieved PR 0 once, and that site was spamming the snot out of the SE's. (It deserved a minus PR)...
Might think about getting a new domain and getting a fresh start...

Brand new sites have PR0. (Don't know if this one is new or not.)

I did not know that. Our recently launched site took two months to get into Google, but it came on with a PR 5. ( www.concrete-home.com )
I've had other sites that were born as PR 3's, but the only PR 0 I had was due to spam (excessive use of keywords the same color as the background)...
