clearing your Google history

This ranks with "state secrets". Google will not tell you how to clear your Google history.
Here is a procedure to clear your Google history to start anew


put in the google toolbar . You can find it Google>tools

then add the link in your browser address bar
link :http://toolbar.google.com/command?clearhist

I found this on a Google search. It was listed as a security hole (horrors) with the Google toolbar

Now you can search for those n u d e photos without the spouse finding out. :D

Guess what ? They fixed the google history file toolbar bug.

On my Google toolbar, if I open the drop down menu at the far left (where is says Google), one of the options is to clear the search history. Also from the same menu, clicking on toobar options, you will see:
Keep a search history in a drop-down list under the search box
Preserve the search history across browser sessions
Automatically run a search when you select from the search history
Unchecking the boxes will keep it from saving the history.
