I have a web design client who is interested in checking out the services of a more experienced SEO professional. He knows little about websites and trusts me to guide him through the pitfalls.

So far I have managed to put together an e-commerce site for him that is getting enough sales to encourage him into doing more. I have performed all the basic SEO stuff I know how to do -- keyphrase analysis, site and content optimization, submission to the top search sites, etc.

My experience with serious SEO is limited to a handful of sites over a couple of years, a fact that governs what I charge for my services.

My client wants me to research and select some SEO professionals who appear to be reliable and reputable and get some prices and proposals so he can decide if he wants to take the plunge and spend more to increase his traffic and (hopefully) his sales.

If you are interested, drop me a line telling about your services, your approach to SEO, etc. I will select from the interested parties and contact you with detailed information about the website in question so you can provide a specific proposal and price quote.

Contact me at info@eugenebarnes.com. Once you introduce yourself and your services, I'll be happy to answer any questions.

Thanks,

Hey Eugene, Nice post but you should be the one to contact those you are interested in talking to. Most of the real good seo's never make the first contact. Just a FYI. :)

Good place to start is right here as many mods and members are very good SEO's. Read all the posts and visit the sites of those you are interested.

I would check out www.seoconsultants.com also. Edward (who's a mod. here too) thoroughly screens all the SEO applicants for allowing them to be listed there. You have a pretty good shot of finding a decent company there.

Good luck!

Welcome Eugene! :hi:

I believe there is a recent thread in here that linked to a free RFP your client could use to solicit proposals from various SEO's. If your client has little experience of SEO, the RFP should help ensure they asked the right questions. I'll go and see if I can find it....

<added>Found it - the thread is here (http://www.ihelpyouservices.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6012&highlight=RFP). Hope this helps :)</added>
