Hi all,
I was trying to find any forum for shopping search engines - with no luck yet.
Should be about high time...

know any good shopping search engines???? i didn't even really think about the fact that they existed, but then again i've only started getting an online shopping itch anyways. And knowing me with a credit card, I don't think it will be a good habit for me to start :D

hmmm, good question, webitor. Maybe it is something we should include on this forum. I use them in my marketing and I am sure that others use them also.
My only hesitation is that referrals are still very small compared to the major search engines.

Something like www.eliteshops.co.uk or do you mean a comparison shopping site?

Well, let me ask you all, where does a shopping comparison site begin and the shopping search engine end? Or even portals' shopping sections? They're all competing for the same users and customers.
I think it would be interesting to see some discussion going on around US sites like Froogle, BizRate, MySimon, DealTime and Nextag. Throw in the shopping sections of the big portals and search engines as well.
In Europe there is of course the leader Kelkoo.com (for whom I work), then there DealTime.co.uk and Pricerunner.com
SEO Guy -> Shopping comparers' volumes may be small but combination volume/quantity is unbeatable I believe. Also I'd like to know if volume is really that small - any good stats for this in the US?
