Links: What would you do?

I had a mail today from a webmaster at agardenplace.homestead.com/files/themeindex.html

My site has been added to this mass of links and Im not sure how engines would view this.

Now, I activly look for links into my site, but I dont feel right about this one, what do you think?

Yep. I calls itself a "links directory". I would not like it as well. Although, I do not believe you have anything to worry about as the engines would not possibly penalize a site just because it was added to something. Simply do not link back and you will be okay.

I agree with Doug, the link should not hurt your site. Otherwise competition could always create a link farm and list their competition in hopes of a penalty.
